| | | | | Green tea(camellia sinensis) Leaf Extract |  | Green tea leaves and leaf buds are used to produce tea. White tea, green tea, oolong, puerh tea and black are all harvested from this species, but are processed differently to attain different levels of oxidation. The leaves have been used in traditional herbal medicine and other medical systems
to treat asthma (functioning as a bronchodilator and coronary artery disease. Tea extracts have become field of interest, due to their notional antibacterial activity. Especially the preservation of processed organic food and the treatment of persistent bacterial infections are being investigated. | | Green tea leaves and extracts also have shown to be effective against bacteria responsible for bad breath. We have added this into our formula for helping improve the circulation of the blood and giving anti bacterial effects to the skin. | | | | | Green tea(camellia sinensis) Seed Oil |  | Tea seed oil resembles olive oil and grape seed oil in its excellent storage qualities and low content of saturated fat. It may comprise up to 88 percent of the Monounsaturated oleic acid. It is high in vitamin E and other antioxidants and contains no natural trans fats. As such, it reduces LDL ('bad cholesterol'). The seed oil can be used as treatment of ringworm. | | We have added this to our formula for strengthening skin revitalizing effects and antioxidants effects. | | | | | Meadowfoam(limnanthes alba) Seed Oil |  | Meadowfoam seed oil is extraordinarily stable, primarily because it contains over 98% long chain fatty acids which are helpful for long time lubricity on the skin.
| | | | | Grape (vitis vinifera) Seed Oil |  | Grape seed oil is a preferred cosmetic ingredient for damaged and stressed tissues, possessing regenerative and restructuring qualities which allow for strong control of skin moisturization. It can help skin retain the normal structure of epithelium cells and nerve cells via supporting the cell membranes. Used as an all-over skin moisturizer, grape seed oil is known to reduce the look of stretch marks. | | Grape seeds also contain several antioxidants including polyphenols, proanthocyanidins, which show some health benefits. | | | | | Purslane(portulaca oleracea) Extract |  | Although purslane is considered a weed in the United States, it can be eaten as a leaf vegetable. It has a slightly sour and salty taste and is eaten throughout much of Europe, Asia and Mexico. Purslane contains more Omega 3 fatty acid (alpha linolenic acid in particular) than any other leafy vegetable plant. 100 grams of fresh purslane leaves (about 1 cup) contain 300 to 400 mg of alpha-linolenic acid and a lot of vitamin A. | | In traditional Chinese medicine where it is called Ma Chi Xian, it is used to treat infections and inflammation. The fresh herb may also be applied topically to relieve sores and insect or snake bites on the skin. We added this to our formula for strengthening anti oxidant and anti-inflammation effects. | | | | | Olive (Olea Europaea) Seed Oil |  | Olive oil is composed mainly of the mixed triglyceride esters of oleic acid and palmitic acid and of other fatty acids, along with traces of squalene (up to 0.7%) and sterols (about 0.2% phytosterol and tocosterols). This mainly mono unsaturated fat contains antioxidants such as vitamin E and carotenoids, and oleuropein, a chemical that prevents the oxidation of LDL particles. | | Studies showed that application of olive oil immediately following exposure to UVA rays has a preventive effect on the formation of tumors and Skin cancer. We added this to our formula for anti oxidant and skin revitalizing effects. | | | | | Allantoin |  | Allantoin is present in botanical extracts of the comfrey plant. It is said to have a moisturizing and keratolytic effect, increasing the water content of the extracellular matrix and enhancing the desquamation of upper layers of dead skin cells, increasing the smoothness of the skin; promotion of cell proliferation and wound healing; and a soothing, anti-irritant, and skin protectant effect by forming complexes with irritant and sensitizing agents. |
